Army Reports 7 Soldiers Killed, 19 Terrorists Dead in Battle

The Army reported that at least 7 Pakistani soldiers were killed in the battle, while 13 were injured during the search operation against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They also reported that one of their soldier is missing during the gunfight with terrorists in the mountainous area under the local police jurisdiction, where the terrorists trapped a security convoy. The injured soldiers were shifted to the hospital, as a large number of Police remained on site as the operation continued.

The Army claimed that they had inflicted significant losses on the terrorists; however, details were not provided by the Army. Pakistan’s Premier Asif Ali Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for this successful operation. They salute the bravery and professionalism of the Pakistan Army in killing 19 terrorists. President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, said that we are determined to remove terrorism from Pakistan.

Prime Minister of Pakistan, Sharif, also appreciated the security forces for their successful operations against terrorism in the Bannu, Mohmand, North Waziristan and districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and also highlighted that the fight against terrorism will continue until we completely remove it from our country. The evolution came after the Pakistan Army said on Thursday that they had killed 19 terrorists in different operations in the northwest of the country over the past 2 days.
