Saif Ali Khan was attacked during a robbery in his house in Mumbai and suffered several knife wounds. Now Saif is undergoing a surgery. A robber broke into Actor Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor’s house in Bandra and supposedly injured Saif with his knife. It happened on Thursday, around 2:30 am, when the actor Saif Ali Khan was sleeping with his family members in his house.
According to the statement of Bandra Police, the robber fled from the spot of the incident after the wake-up of house members and the Police are searching for the culprit. Several teams are formed for the search of robbers. The police are also processing the FIR of the robber. In an official statement, an IPS officer confirmed the incident of Saif’s House and said, that Saif Ali Khan has been taken to Lilavati Hospital for emergency treatment. He is under surgery in the hospital and it was not confirmed that it was an attack or he was injured in the fight with the robber. The Mumbai Police was investigating the whole matter. The Mumbai Crime Branch is also investigating the same incident.

COO of Lilavati Hospital Dr. Niraj Usmani said in a statement, “Saif was attacked by an unknown man in his house who fled away and Saif Ali Khan was taken to our Hospital at 3:30 am. Saif has six injuries two of which are deeper. One of his injuries is near the spine. We are performing surgery on him. His surgery has been performed by Neurosurgeon Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Leena Jain, and anesthetist Nisha Gandhi. They will tell about the loss of Saif’s body after performing the surgery.
Dr Usmani also said that there is another injury on his neck and this is also examined they said that their surgery started at 5:30 am and is still being done. One of the doctors at Lilavati Hospital also said that doctors found a piece of a Knife in the body of Saif and still they are examining the damage to the body. Actor Saif Ali Khan can move their hand and body which means that their spine is not much damaged.

Sources from Lilavati Hospital said that two injuries are deep, two are medium and two are external. One of his injuries was deep and he got ten stitches for this injury. He is very lucky that none of his vital organs are damaged. It seems that he was attacked by a knife when he was trying to stop the robbery.
The family of Saif is with him at the hospital, his wife Kareena and also his two sons Taimur and Jeh are with them. Saif married Kareena in 2012 and they are living together with their sons in in the Satguru Sharan building in Mumbai’s Bandra West where this incident happened.
