Pakistan has firmly denied the Indian allegation of using Shaheen Missiles in Operation Bunyan um Marsoos. The news circulating in the Indian Media falsely claimed that Pakistan had used Shaheen Missiles during the India-Pakistan conflict. The spokesperson of the Foreign Affairs, Shafqat Ali Khan, said that the allegations of using Shaheen missiles in “Operation Bunyan um Marsoos” started after the Indian Army posted a video of Shaheen missiles on their official account on X or Twitter.

He added that, after realizing the video was unverified, the Indian Army immediately deleted it. Before the deletion, Indian media promoted the video without verification. In addition, some Indian media continued to broadcast this unverified video. Notably, the Indian Army remained silent on this propaganda, neither clarifying nor abjuring. Observation by analysts stated that the uploading of unverified video of missiles by the Indian army is an attempt to hide the setbacks of India in Operation Sindoor.

Moreover, the false stories line up with New Delhi’s continuing efforts to boost misleading information regarding the ceasefire and false claims of so-called “nuclear blackmail” by Pakistan. DG ISPR stated in a press release on 12 May that the range of weapons used by Pakistan in response to India’s attack. The Pakistan Army used long-range Fateh Missiles, precision-guided, as well as latest weapon systems, highly capable long-range predatory killer drones, and precision long-range artillery. In the press release of 12th May, DG ISPR said that these assets were used to target military sites in India and Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.
