Pakistan Show Regret 38 Lives Lost in Kazakhstan Plane Crash

An Azerbaijani passenger Plane crashed in Kazakhstan. In this plane, 67 people were travelling on board, and 38 of them were killed during this crash. According to officials, 62 are passengers and 5 are crew members, and 28 people are survivors. Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif show deep regret on the loss of 38 human lives during a plane crash in Kazakhstan. The president and Prime Minister show their deep regrets to President Aliyev, the government and the people of Azerbaijan in Separate statements.

President Aliyev said in a social media post, “I extend my condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the crash… and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.” According to different sources, the Embraer 190 took off over the Caspian Sea, and it went down near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. This plane was supposed to fly from Baku to the city of Grozny in Chechnya in southern Russia. It was not on its normal route, and the situation was so bad at the place of the incident.

Azerbaijani Airlines sent an aircraft with specialist doctors to rescue the injured passengers of the plane. The plane was flying away from his normal route, and it crashed near the city of Aktau, which is an oil and gas hub on the shore of the Caspian Sea. The Ministry reports that 28 people are hospitalised, including 2 children. The Ministry also reports that the aircraft was 37 nationals from Azerbaijan, 6 from Kazakhstan, 16 from Russia and 3 from Kyrgyzstan.
