Ramzan is the month of kindness, sacrifice, patience, fasting, and generosity. As we know, the government offered subsidies to the citizens of Pakistan during Ramzan by launching Sasta Ramzan Bazar in many districts and cities. In Kot Addu, the government introduced Sasta Ramzan Bazar to provide subsidies and assist low-income people in obtaining affordable food items. By launching Sasta Bazar, the government demonstrated its concern for the welfare of the citizens. At this bazaar, people can purchase food items at discounted prices, including fruits, vegetables, meat, flour, and groceries.
At Sasta Ramzan Bazar Kot Addu, there are many daily-use items, including groceries. The market price of sugar is 150 PKR, while at the Ramzan Bazar, the cost is 130 PKR. Rice, sugar, ghee, chicken, fruits, vegetables, eggs, and other necessary items are available at low prices, making them accessible to poor people. They offer 10 kg bags of flour for 760 PKR.

Assistant Commissioner M Asghar Iqbal visits the Sasta Bazar Kot Addu daily to examine the prices that people buy items at which price. A seller at Ramzan Bazar said that A.C Kot Addu visits the bazaar daily and inspects everything, and a Rescue stall is also installed at the bazaar. At first, A.C Kot Addu asked the Meat seller to spray the stall, so that the flies flew away and kept the stall clean. They made a phone call to someone to give the spray to the meat seller so that they can spray it on the stalls.
After some time, District Commissioner Syed Munawar Abbas Bukhari arrived at the Sasta Ramzan Bazar Kot Addu for inspection and gave instructions to the Assistant Commissioner to develop the stalls of the Bazaar by installing boards on the stalls. Moreover, D.C asked for the prices of meat, fruits, and Flour prices and asked them to lower the prices of some items. In Conclusion, Citizens of Kot Addu are buying basic items at low prices to meet their basic needs. Thanks to the Government of Punjab for launching Sasta Ramzan bazar in Kot Addu.
