Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, announced a new scheme of distributing 10,000 free E-Bikes among the students of Punjab. In the Punjab Zakat and Ushr Council Meeting, which was chaired by the Special Assistance to the Chief Minister, Iqbal Nasrullah, the decision was made to distribute 10,000 E-Bikes to the students of Punjab. Senator Dr. Ghaus Muhammad Khan Niazi, MPA Malik Iftikhar Ahmed, Parliamentary Secretary, Zubair Ahmed, Punjab Assembly members, and others attended the meeting.
Eligibility Requirements For E-Bikes:
Primary details suggest that the modern two-wheelers, Electric Bikes, will be provided to the Deserving students of Punjab who qualify for Zakat. It is stated that the bikes will be given to those students who are already registered with the Zakat and Ushr Council. Additional details will be released soon by the Government of Punjab.

In addition, it has been planned to distribute 200o E-Bikes in the first phase of the scheme. In the meeting, they did not share the date of distribution of the modern two-wheel electric bikes. Nasrullah said the programme will be started according to the instructions of CM Punjab, Maryam Nawaz. She has also started the Laptop scheme for the students of Pakistan, and other schemes of bikes on installment, and has also launched other scholarship schemes.
