On April 9, A Police mobile van was attacked in the Sairab area, resulting in 3 deaths at the spot, and one person was seriously injured late at night on Wednesday. In this attack, three police officers were martyred, including a police inspector and two constables. Officials said that the tragic incident occurred at the Mustang Road area. The police officers were in the vehicle, which was parked near a restaurant, when the armed men on motorcycles attacked the police van.

A Police officer said, “The driver was seriously injured in the attack, two police constables and a Police Inspector were dead at the spot due to receiving several bullet injuries, which caused their deaths.” The police reached the incident spot after receiving information about the attack and shifted the bodies of the Police officers and the injured to the Hospital. The driver was identified as Khair Bakhsh. Later, the Police Inspector, identified as Abdul Wali, and the two constables, Abdul Rehman and Constable Mukhtiar.

After this deadly attack, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, the Chief Minister of Balochistan, showed regret over this tragic attack and said that the blood of the martyred would not go in vain. CM Bugti said, “The attackers will be brought to Justice. He also said that the state is not weak, and the attackers who disrupt peace in Balochistan will receive the hardest punishment. He added that the operation will be launched against attackers and terrorists, and we will not leave any space for them.

After the Jaffar Express incident, the attack in Balochistan is at its peak now. A day before this incident, a Frontier Corps personnel was killed in the Noshki Area in a gun attack. After identifying, the police said the victim was Muhammad Zahir and was targeted by the attackers riding motorcycles. He was on vacation and belonged to the district. The Frontier Corps personnel got serious bullet injuries and died on the spot, The police shifted the body to the district hospital in Noshki. In a statement, the attack was a targeted killing, and no group has claimed responsibility for this attack. So, the police registered a case against the unknown attackers. The body was delivered to his family after the medical formalities.
