With a record of marking the completion of the renovation of a cricket stadium in just 117 days, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced this event.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), The grand opening ceremony of an ICC event in 2025 will start with a live musical night, a display of fireworks at the stadium, and a unique Light show that gives a stunning view of the cricket enthusiasts. Pak Premier will inaugurate the opening ceremony of the upgraded ground. They gave free entry to the public so that the fans could witness the significant event hosted by Pakistan.

The renowned Gaddafi Stadium has gone through important changes Now, new technology floodlights have been installed in the Stadium, and the latest digital score-board screens are also installed in the stadium, elevated seating across the stadium, the brand new hospitality boxes and improved facilities for the both fans and players.

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who supervised the renovation project and praised the timely completion of the renovation. He said, “This modification is proof of the full commitment of our team. The stadium is now on par with international standards, offering cricket fans the best possible experience,”. Mohsin Naqvi also appreciates the workers, engineers, and the team who were involved in the project, especially the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) and NESPAK. He added I want to thank the workers with my heart who changed this ambitious project into reality. After facing criticism, The squad remained committed, and with the blessing of Allah Almighty, we succeeded in completing this challenging project, He added.
