The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10th edition introduces a new Player tracking technology on the ground. This new technology keeps records of ball-by-ball data of the various aspects of the game. According to the statement, the movements of fielders’ coordinates, batsmen, and bowlers’ run-up on each delivery are also tracked frame by frame. Spectators can see the data gathered from each ball during the game on the screens.

PCB added, Some of the key features of Player Tracking Technology include Zone-based performance analysis for the fielders, scoring zone integrations for the batters, analysis of ball catching on caught dismissals, and also a breakdown of field placements following the recorded weaknesses and strengths of the fielders. PCB also shared ideas of introducing auto-no-ball detection, real-time multi-angle replays, and live communication between umpires. Chief Executive Officer of HBL PSL Salman Naseer said,” The HBL PSL has always adopted innovation, and with this new Player Tracking Technology, Pakistan has taken a step in enriching the viewer’s experience.

He added, “Our Goal has always been to deliver top-class match coverage. By introducing new technology, the Pakistan Super League stepped towards making the 10th edition of PSL a benchmark for modern cricket.” The first match will be played on 11 April 2025 at Rawalpindi Stadium between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars. The total of 34 matches will be played in four different cities of Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan Stadium. The Final match will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 18. The HBL PSL 10 series will be played for 37 days.
