On 9 May, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced that they have decided to shift all the upcoming matches of HBL PSL X to the United Arab Emirates. The upcoming eight matches of the tournament will be played in the United Arab Emirates. On Friday, PCB stated to redirect its tournament matches to the UAE, which were originally planned to be played at the Rawalpindi, Multan, and Lahore stadiums. The final phase of HBL PSL X will take place in the UAE. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also said that the venues and exact dates will be announced soon to cricket fans.

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, said that the urgent decision to shift matches was taken in response to the deadly Indian attack targeting the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Mohsin Naqvi said, It seems that the attack was done to create disturbance in the ongoing HBL PSL X league. We took decision to shift the remaining matches to ensure the safety of National and International cricket players who are our guests. In addition, He said, PCB remained dedicated to the continuity of this league. He added, the mental health of the players is a vital aspect.

Naqvi added, “As a responsible organisation, it was important for us to protect the interests of cricket and also ensure that the league continues to flourish. The upcoming eight matches, including the qualifier, eliminator 1, eliminator 2, and the final, will take place in the UAE. According to the points table of the Pakistan Super League X tournament, the Quetta Gladiators are on top with the highest points. Saud Shakeel is leading the Quetta Gladiators in this tournament, a total of 9 matches played by the team Quetta, in which one was a draw due to a sandstorm, and they have won 6 matches out of nine.
