The series “Untold Pakistan” uses short videos and photo stories to introduce viewers to craftspeople, folk artists, and local traditions. Every episode highlights a community or an individual, showing how cultural practices are transferred through generations. The videos are in simple narration, and the visuals are cinematic. By using Instagram, he hopes to reach a younger audience who are unfamiliar with their culture and traditions. Before starting his series, Athar Abbas had worked in short films, documentaries, commercials, and music videos through his production company, Athar-Bilal Films, which he co-founded with his brother Bilal Abbas.
