The Australian Government has made its Visa application process accessible to Pakistanis by launching the Immi App, which allows eligible individuals to submit their passports and facial biometrics through their mobile phones without visiting biometrics centres. On Tuesday, the Australian High Commission announced in a press release that visa applications are now available in Pakistan for Visa applicants. Additionally, the process to apply for a Visa for Pakistanis is now easier, thanks to the launch of the Australian Immi app.

According to the Australian High Commission, Eligible users can use this Immi App from today to submit passport details and facial biometrics through their mobile phone without visiting a biometric collection centre. In addition to this, the report said, to be eligible, you must have previously provided your biometrics to the Department of Home Affairs, and the client must hold a valid passport. Timothy Kane, the Australian High Commissioner, called it a major milestone in making the Australian Visa process more accessible for Pakistani people.
The Australian Immi App enables individuals to submit their documentation securely through their mobile phones, saving time and travel costs. The app was launched in 2024 and has achieved significant success across Asia, enabling thousands of users to easily and securely complete their Visa requirements. Moreover, with the latest version, the app is now available in 34 countries, including new access across the Middle East, North Africa, Latin America and Europe. High Commissioner Kane said, “We inspire all the eligible visa applicants in Pakistan to use the app. Moreover, the app is secure, simple and easy to use, and helps speed up visa applications—making travel to Australia easier and more timely”.
